FoxTheft:War on the Bayou

by Randell W. Nall

FoxTheft is a fictional account of the general scenario faced by some in Louisiana, as the war in Viet Nam ended, and the Drug Wars began.  As a spoil of illegal drug wealth and extortion, corrupt politicians build a place of gratuity for the drug traffickers, and themselves, in the remote swamp.  Come by and pick up a copy at Big Head's while they last or visit Amazon to pick up your copy at  www.Amazon.com keyword foxtheft (click on the book cover)

Who We Are

Big Head's is family owned and operated by Cindy & J.C. Olano and their two daughters April & Amanda.  You may see their Son (Jonathan) or one of the Grandkids (Noah, Destiny, and Tristan "T-Paul") from time to time.

J.C. loves to cook, especially Bar-B-Q.  So much so, he fabricated his own pit and several large kettle pots for cooking jambalaya.  The Olano's come from a large family and it was never a problem filling them up.  Some day's J.C. would cook a large pot of Jambalaya or Pastalaya and flag the neighbors down to give them a plate for dinner.

He cooked for the West Bank Motorcycle Club’s St. Jude Poker Run for 11 years, Port Allen Mardi Gras, and Morales Grocery in Brusly.

One day on the way home from a friend's house in Grosse Tete they saw the perfect place for a small Bar-B-Q stop.  It was going to be just Bar-b-Q.

After a year of remodeling it themselves, the building had been totally transformed and so did the menu.
