Big Head's Bar-B-Q

I noticed the sign, "Big Head's Bar-B-Q" as I was getting off the interstate in Grosse Tete. The name was catchy and I figured anyone named, "Big Head" MUST know his barbecue! I decided to stop in for a quick bite.The restaurant was clean, well decorated and cool. There were a few locals as well as 2 Louisiana State Police enjoying a meal. This immediately made me feel like I had made a wise decision stopping in.I ordered the barbecue rib platter. The platter came with 3 or 4 LARGE ribs, potato salad, baked beans and a roll. The ribs were well seasoned and tender, the potato salad was delicious as well as the baked beans. The service was friendly, prompt and I would surely recommend others to try them out!
